Request Funding for a Vehicle
This guide assumes that the vehicle is found in your most recent inventory report within your DMS. If you are looking to floor a vehicle that isn't in your DMS, click here.
In order to begin the process of funding a vehicle, click "Request Funding" in the top right corner of the screen next to the "Credit Summary" title.
After you click request funding, a list of the vehicles in your inventory report that aren't yet awaiting approval or floored will appear.
Add any vehicle that you wish to request funding for by clicking to select it. You can select multiple vehicles here by simply clicking on more than one VIN.
After you've selected the VINs you wish to floor, press the arrow that appears to the right of the "Request Funding" window.
The next screen is where you will confirm the vehicles you have selected, let us know what the acquisition type of the vehicle is and if you have the title in possession already. The value to the right of the VIN is the value stored in your DMS. If this ends up being different than the total paid at auction or to a wholesaler due to fees, your analyst/account manager will be able to add that in during the approval process.
Finish the CAPTCHA (if necessary) and click submit. After the page reloads, you'll see that vehicle in the "Awaiting Approval" section of the floor plan. (The vehicle filter button is found on the left of the screen, if you don't see it, move your mouse to the side and it should give you a bar you can click to pop it out).
Your team at GFL will receive an email letting us know you wish this to be floored and it should be approved and processed in a timely manner.
